Recruiters’ Confidence Increases For A Second
Consecutive Month
 www.execunet.com – As signs of a sustained economic
recovery continue to emerge, ExecuNet’s Recruiters
Confidence Index increased in November. The monthly
survey of executive recruiters conducted by ExecuNet,
the executive job search and recruiting network, reveals
an improving outlook for the executive employment
market.
According to the survey, 74% of recruiters are confident
or very confident the executive employment market will
improve during the next six months – up from 67% in
October. During this period of time, the executive
search industry is expecting a 16% increase in the
number of assignments it receives from clients.

Unusual Interviews
Vice Presidents and personnel directors of the
one hundred largest corporations were asked to describe their most unusual
experience interviewing prospective employees.
A job applicant challenged the interviewer to an arm wrestle.
Interviewee wore a Walkman, explaining that she could listen to the interviewer
and the music at the same time.
Candidate fell and broke arm during interview.
Candidate announced she hadn't had lunch and proceeded to eat a hamburger and
french fries in the interviewers office.
Candidate explained that her long-term goals was to replace the interviewer.
